Martin Mundy Banjo Mark Norman Dobro Jeff Arthur Lead Vocal Jody East Mandolin Cody East Bass Joe East Guitar The New Frontier Band is the result of two young boys watching their Dad (Joe East) and a fellow musician (Martin Mundy) playing on stage and dreaming of being a part of the band. That was in 1982 when they were in the 5th grade. In February of 1996 the New Frontier Band made it's first public appearance with Martin Mundy on Banjo, Joe East on guitar, Jody East playing mandolin and Cody East playing bass. The foundation had been laid with tight family harmony and a passion to entertain. Joe's son-in-law Jeff Arthur soon joined the band and when his voice was added to the mix it allowed the band to develop a very extensive and versatile repertoire. Frankly the harmony is simply outstanding. A long time family friend Mark Norman who also just happens to be an outstanding Dobro player came on board and the "New Frontier" sound was on it's way. by e-mail - jae72752@kiva.net to confirm any of the above dates or need specific directions.
